1. Information We Collect

When you run a speed measurement, we collect the following information.

• Measurements: download speed, upload speed, latency, jitter
• Location: latitude and longitude from the browser Geolocation API (rounded to ~1km). If denied, we use country and city only, estimated from your IP address.
• Measurement timestamp (UTC)
• IP address and User-Agent: never stored as-is. They are SHA-256 hashed with a daily-rotated salt to prevent abuse. The original values cannot be recovered.

2. Purpose

• Generation and display of the world map and city-level statistics
• Service improvement and abuse prevention

3. Third-party Disclosure

We do not share individual measurements with third parties. Aggregated statistics (such as per-city averages) may be published or shared with third parties in the future.

4. Retention

Measurements are retained indefinitely in principle. We may delete old data at our discretion.

5. Cookies

This service does not use cookies. We use cookieless Cloudflare Web Analytics for traffic analysis.

6. Data Deletion Requests

Because measurements are submitted anonymously, individual identification and deletion may not be possible. Please contact us below for inquiries.

This policy may be updated without prior notice. The latest version will always be published on this page.
